The Pier (Kid’s Ministry)
Our kid’s ministry is built on the foundation of the ORANGE strategy, leveraging the shared dynamic of both the church and home together. The Pier is a cool environment where imagination and fun can blossom. Our Pier leaders love kids and love to share Jesus with elementary age kids. It is our objective in The Pier to teach three basic truths:
(1) I need to make the wise choice.
(2) I can trust God no matter what.
(3) I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Each month we look at a monthly application, learn a memory verse that coincides, and uses Parent Cue cards (or the app) to help parents reinforce these truths at home. We have Large Group time (high energy and visual) and Small Group time where kids interact with others there own age. We even have FX (Family Experience) every few months to invite families to experience The Pier as well!
